CPD Events for my Designation(s)

How do I know if an LIA CPD event is relevant to my designation(s)?

Where an LIA event offers CPD, the categories / competencies it is relevant to will be listed on our website and in our booking system. The categories are in line with the Central Bank of Ireland’s Minimum Competency Code.

For example, if Joe holds an APA (Pensions), any event relevant to category 2 (Pensions) will award him CPD. If he attends an event which is relevant to category 1 only (Life Assurance), Joe will not receive CPD as it is not relevant to his APA (Pensions).

Please note that the onus is on you to ensure that an event is relevant to the designations you hold before attending for CPD purposes. However, we welcome your attendance for non-CPD purposes if you feel that you would learn from the content being presented.
