How do I record a CPD event on my CPD log?

For all external events, that has an LIA accreditation number (LIAXXXXX_202X), then it has been approved by LIA for CPD and can be added to the CPD record. To do this:

• Log in to your LIA Member Account.
• Navigate to the CPD Log
• Enter the accreditation number into the relevant field and click ‘Add’.
• Save your entry before exiting or navigating away from the page.

Please note: If the event was accredited by IOB or The Insurance Institute, their accreditation codes will not log on the LIA system. Please email the relevant code to cpd@lia.ie, and we will provide you with LIA’s equivalent code to log in your CPD record.

If an accreditation number was not provided, we recommend contacting the event organiser or speaker, who may seek CPD approval from LIA.
