How many CPD hours is an event accredited for?

Answer:

The number of CPD hours an event is accredited for depends on the type and format of the event. According to the LIA CPD Guidelines:

  • Single in-person/live event: Can be accredited for up to 4 CPD hours per topic.
  • Tested online courses/modules: Can be accredited for up to 2 CPD hours per module.
  • Examination modules: Can receive up to 8 CPD hours, though these do not count towards category-specific requirements​.

To confirm the CPD hours for a specific event, please refer to the event details provided by LIA or the event organiser. The accredited CPD hours and the relevant product categories should be clearly stated at the beginning and end of the event, or on the Accreditation Confirmation issued to the event organiser from LIA.
