When will my CPD hours be updated for an LIA event?

CPD hours for an LIA event are typically updated automatically after the event, but the exact timing can vary. Here’s what you need to know:

  1. Automatic Updates – If the event is an LIA-accredited CPD event, your CPD hours should be logged automatically in your MyCPD record within a few days of attendance.
  2. Processing Time – While updates are generally quick, it may take up to 48 hours for your hours to be reflected in your account.
  3. Attendance Confirmation – Ensure that you attended the full duration of the event, as partial attendance may result in CPD hours not being awarded.
  4. Check Your CPD Log – Log into your MyCPD account on LIA’s website to verify if the hours have been added.
  5. Missing Hours? – If your CPD hours have not been updated after 10 working days:
    • Check your email for any updates from LIA.
    • Contact LIA Member Services at events@lia.ie or call +353-01-4563890 for assistance.

For external events, CPD hours may take longer to be updated, and you may need to submit proof of attendance manually​.
